Tenure-track Position in Marine Chemistry

The International Doctoral Program of Marine Science and Technology (IDPMST) at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Marine Chemistry.
We seek outstanding candidates with strong research and teaching credentials to join our dynamic and interdisciplinary academic community.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, including at least one English-Medium Instruction (EMI) course each semester, and provide support for required courses in the College of Marine Sciences
  • Establish and sustain externally funded research programs
  • Participate in academic and administrative service activities in support of the program and the university

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Ph.D. degree in marine chemistry or a closely related discipline
  • Have a minimum of two years of postdoctoral research experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to publish high-quality research in reputable, peer-reviewed journals
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English
